Originally from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Natalia is the Communications and Media Coordinator for FP2030 Latin America and the Caribbean Hub. She is twenty-four years old. Natalia has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication and Media Studies from Franklin University Switzerland, alongside a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution, Peace, and Development from the UN-Mandated University for Peace located in Costa Rica. Natalia is fluent in Spanish, English, and French, with proficiency in Italian. In her free time, Natalia enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Natalia is passionate about sexual and reproductive rights, especially promoting the use of modern contraceptives among historically marginalized populations and advocating for comprehensive sexual education for all. Natalia is greatly driven by her passion for gender equality, intersectionality and development. Natalia is determined to utilize her skills and experiences to drive positive change and foster a more inclusive future, especially for Indigenous women and girls.
