The power shifting pre-conference is going on with so a good deal of reflections from the participants and speakers.

Often, civil society organizations from our communities are not trusted to fully engage in demographic research studies. As a result, these studies are not translating into the everyday lives of people within communities.
There is no doubt that when this happens, the programs designed by CSOs are not responding to the health needs of the societies including sexual and reproductive health needs. Young researchers are even more affected by this unfair practice due to a lack of trust.
